  “1883” is a prequel to the TV series “Yellowstone,” following the Dutton family’s journey from Tennessee to Montana in the late 19th century. The series depicts their arduous trek west through the Great Plains, joining a wagon train led by a tough cowboy named Shea Brennan. The Duttons seek a new life and establish what will become the Yellowstone Ranch, facing challenges and hardships along the way.
